  • PROPERTY IS OPENED BY A 460 FT SHAFT AND A 640 FT WINZE WHICH IS SUNK ON A 40 DEG. ANGLE. AN 18 FT SULFIDE VEIN CARRYING 1% CU HAS BEEN OPENED IN THE WINZE. IN 1992, WORKED BY HEAP AND DUMP LEACHING.

Deposit COPPER CARBONATES AT SURFACE, COPPER SULFIDES AT DEPTH. SIGNIFICANT ORE BODIES MAY OCCUR AT DEPTH WHERE FAVORABLE BEDS OF THE ABRIGO FORMATION MAKE UP THE HANGING WALL OF THE REPUBLIC FAULT. MOST OF ORE CAME FROM REPLACED BEDS IN ABRIGO AND ESCABROSA FORMATIONS.
