  • ORE WAS OXIDIZED TO A DEPTH OF 200 FEET. SOME OXIDIZED ZINC ORE MAY NOT HAVE BEEN RECOGNIZED BY EARLY MINERS. SOME HIGH GRADE (AND LOW GRADE) OXIDE ZINC ORE HAS BEEN FOUND IN THE MINE DUMP. THIS ASSAYED FROM 0.2 TO 44.2 PERCENT ZINC.

  • OPERATIONS BEFORE 1890 NETTED PERHAPS 10000 TONS OF ORE WORTH $1 MILLION. PRODUCTION BETWEEN 1899 AND 1903 WAS BETWEEN $250000 AND $1 MILLION. FROM 1907-1918 AND ADDITIONAL 14,200 TONS OF ORE AVERAGING 7.5 PERCENT COPPER AND 4 OZ. SILVER PER TON WERE MINED. PRODUCTION CEASED 1918.
