General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit OCCURRENCE OF CHRYSOCHOLLA 2 - 3 MIN THICK ON FRACTURE. POSSIBLY RELATED TO HYPOGENE MINERALIZATION IN THE TERTIARY VOLCANICS BECAUSE OF CHALCOPYRITE - TYPE GOSSAN IN SEAM. HOWEVER NO BOXWORK OR CHALCOPYRITE REMANTS WERE OBSERVED AND ONLY SLIGHT PROPYLITIC ALTERATION IS ASSOCIATED. THUS POSSIBLY THE GOSSAN IS RELATED TO ALTERATION OF OLIVINE IN THE VOLCANICS.
