| Deposit | THE PROPERTY WAS DISCOVERED BY H.W. BALDWIN IN 1936. AFTER SEVERAL ABORTIVE ATTEMPTS AT DEVELOPMENT IN THE LATE 190'S, THE PROPERTY WAS LEASED BY MELVIN MCCOY AND JOHN HARDIN IN 1941 WHO DEEPENED THE SHAFT AND RECOVERED 47 FLASKS FROM RETURTS. 94 FLASKS WERE RECOVERED IN 1942. IN 1943, THE PROPERTY WAS OPTIONED BY THE MOLYBDENIM PRODUCTS COMPANY OF TACOMA, WA, WITH NO DEV. OR PRODUCTION THRU 1943 THE PROPERTY LAYIDLE THRU AT LEAST 1956. LARGEST WORKINGS WERE NEAR N. END OF AN 800-FT LONG OUTCROP OF SILICIFIED RHYLOLITE, AND CONSISTS A 76-FT. SHAFT WITH ASSOCIATED UNDERGROUND WORKINGS TOTALLING ABOUT 160 FT.
