General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit ADITS EXPLORE AREAS OF CONCENTRATION OF NARROW WHITE QUARTZ VEINS THAT LOCALLY CONTAIN 0.25 MM CRYSTALS OF PYRITE.- ALTHOUGH THE PROSPECT IS LISTED AS A MERCURY CLAIM BY JOHNSON- (1977), PANNING OF A LARGE SAMPLE TAKEN FROM VARIOUS PLACES -IN BOTH DUMPS YIELDED ABUNDANT PYRITE BUT NO CINNABAR. PERHAPS- THE MAIN METAL BEING SOUGHT HERE WAS GOLD RATHER THAN MERCURY
