FROM 1927 TO 1940 TOTALS 1,070,519 TONS. PRODUCTION BY U.S. GYPSUM CO. FROM 1948 THROUGH 1970 TOTALS 4,980,912 TONS. DEPOSIT WAS DEVELOPED BY OPEN-PIT MINING METHODS.
