  • SMALL BLOCK OF HORNFELS REMAIN IN GRANODIORITE AS A PENDANT, 50 TO 100 FT WIDE AND 300 FT. LONG. THE SEDIMENTS ARE METAMORPHOSED AND ALMOST COMPLETELY ALTERED TO EPIDOTE AND QUARTZ CONTAINING RIBS OF GARNET 10 TO 15 FT. WIDE THAT STRIKE WITH THE LONG AXIS OF THE PENDANT.
