  • A CLAY BED CONFORMABLE TO THE SHALES IS EXPOSED IN AN AREA ABOUT 30 FT. SQUARE ABOUT 6 FT. THICK CROSSCUTTING RELATIONSHIPS OF BODY AND A THIN ZONE OF HYDRATED IRON OXIDE AT THE AT THE CONTACT SUGGESTS A HYDROTHERMAL ORIGIN.
