| Deposit | THE ORE OCCURS AS SMALL LENSES AND PODS IN A MINERALIZED FAULT ZONE. ANTIMONY MINERALS ARE MOST ABUNDANT IN THE NE PART OF FAULT ZONE, BUT DO OCCUR MORE RARELY TO SW IN FAULT ZONE. SOME OF THE RICHEST ORE WAS FOUND NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF THE MAIN FAULT ZONE AND SMALL CROSS FAULTS THAT OFFSET THE FAULT ZONE 1 TO 2 FEET. |
| Deposit | FIRST LOCATED DURING WORLD WAR I. SMALL QUANTITY OF ORE WAS SHIPPED IN 1918. GREEN BROS. (AVERILL & FRANK) WORKED MINE FOR 3 YEARS (1933-36?) STOCKPILING 30 TONS OF ORE. GREENMINE ALSO WORKED DURING THE PERIODS 1936-37, 1952-54 AND 1962-67. DEVELOPED BY 4 ADITS, TOTALING 410 FEET EXPLORE A MINERALIZED FAULT ZONE 120 FEET ALONG STRIKE AND 55 FEET DOWN DIP. SOME STOPES DRIVEN FROM ADITS. SOUTH OF MAIN WORKINGS SIX SHORT ADITS EXPLORE COMPLEX FAULT ZONE. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT; 3 FIELD OBSERV |
