  • MOST ACTIVITY TOOK PLACE BETWEEN 1938 AND 1964. DRAGLINE OPERATIONS WERE CARRIED ON DURING 1959-1960.APPARENTLY NO ACTIVITY IN 1984, HOWEVER ACTIVE PLACERING WAS TAKING PLACE AT THAT TIME BOTH UPSTREAM AND DOWNSTREA-M FROM THACKER PLACER IN WILLOW CREEK CANYON

Deposit MOST PLACER ACTIVITY TOOK PLACE BETWEEN 1938 AND 1964. SMALL EARTH-MOVING EQUIPMENT WAS USED TO DELIVER THE GRAVELS TO A CENTRAL WASHING PLANT. DRAGLINE OPERATIONS WERE CARRIED ON DURING 1959-60 IN THE N-S TRENDING PART OF THE CREEK BETWEEN THE THACKER AND WADLEY PLACER MINES.
