| Deposit | WORKINGS ARE ALONG A NW ZONE OF FAULTING AND IRON-STAINING ABOUT 100 M LONG, 0.5-2 M WIDE. IN THIS ZONE, GRANITIC WALLROCK IS BLEACHED, IRON-STAINED AND CUT BY NARROW SHEARS. ZONE CONTAINS RARE QUARTZ VEIN MATERIAL. WALLROCK OUTSIDE THE ZONE IS UNALTERED OR SLIGHTLY CHLORITIZED. A SINGLE INCLINED SHAFT IS ON A VERY SIMILAR ZONE 200 M UP THE CANYON (NE) FROM THE MAIN WORKINGS. THIS ZONE HAS AN ATTITUDE OF N30W, 75 NE. THE SHALLOW NATURE OF THE ORE SUGGESTS THAT SOME FREE-MILLING GOLD WAS FOUND IN THE ZONE. |
