Comments on the geologic information

  • MUCH OF BETTER-GRADE FLUORSPAR REMOVED. REMAINING FLUORSPAR OCCURS IN AN IRREGULAR NW-STRIKING BRECCIA ZONE ABOUT 8-10 FT. WIDE, ALONG THE FAULT THAT FORMS THE CONTACT BETWEEN THE TUFF AND LIMESTONE. TUFF ADJACENT TO BRECCIA ZONE IS PARTLY SILICIFIED. OTHER EDGE OF ZONE IS GRADATIONAL CONTACT WITH STRONGLY SILICIFIED LIMESTONE WITH FLUORITE PRESENT IN SPARSE, PARTLY FILLED VUGS ON FRACTURE SURFACES. THE FLUORSPAR OCCURS AS IRREGULAR REPLACEMENT MASSES, VEINLETS, AND VUG FILLINGS. MOST OF FLUORITE IS A VERY LIGHT GRAY OFTEN WITH A PURPLE TINY.
