Comments on the workings information

  • THE LODE STRIKES NORTH-SOUTH IN QUARTZITE AND SEEMS TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH THE CONTACT BETWEEN THE QUARTZITE AND UNDERLYING INTRUSIVE GRANITE. DUMP MATERIAL INDICATES THAT THE DEPOSIT CARRIES MAGNETITE-HEMATITC MATERIAL OF GOOD GRADE. THE DEPOSIT IS PROBABLY OF MAGMATIC ORIGIN. THE ORE IS MASSIVE AND HAS AN IRREGULAR FRACTURE; SOME OF IT IS POROUS OR VESICULAR. IT IS ESTIMATED THAT THE DEPOSIT CONTAINS SEVERAL THOUSAND TONS OF FAIR-GRADE IRON ORE.
