Deposit THE JUSTICE CLAIM HAD A SHAFT 1200 FEET DEEP BY 1879. ORE PRODUCTION FROM THE 100-FT TO THE 1000-FT LEVELS WAS 183,000 TONS WITH A VALUE OF $3,500,000 DOLLARS. ABOUT ONE-TENTH AS MUCH WAS PRODUCED IN THE NEXT 30 YEARS, AND AN ADDITIONAL FEW THOUSANDS BY LEASERS IN 1922-1924. TOTAL PRODUCTION 1873-1879 WAS 206,177 TONS OF ORE OVERAGING $19.07 PER TON. 1922-1924; 3810 TONS, AVERAGING ABOUT $12 PERTON ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT
