Deposit OREBODIES REPLACED LIMEY BEDS ALONG SHEAR ZONES.
Deposit FIRST CLAIM HERE WAS RECORDED IN 1869. THIS WAS AMONG THE CLAIMS ACQUIRED BY THE FRENCH CO. IN THE EARLY 1880'S IN THE GALENA AREA. PRODUCTION FROM CLAIMS AS A WHOLE WAS GOOD FROM EARLY 1880'S TO 1885, BUT NO INDIVIDUAL FIGURES ARE RECORDED. WORKINGS CONSISTED OF AN 800-FT. DRIFT TO A RAISE, FOLLOWING THE S. EXTENSION OF THE WHITE AND SHILOH VEIN, WHICH IS APPARENTLY BARREN HERE. PRODUCTION, IF ANY, WAS NO DOUBT VERY SMALL ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
