FIRES AND MARKET FLUCTUATIONS CAUSED PRODUCTION TO BE SPORADIC UNTIL 1957, WHEN THE MILL WAS SHUT DOWN, WITH LESSEE ACTIVITY CONTINUING UNTIL 1959 WHEN THE U.S. GOV'T. TOOK IT OVER.
