| Deposit | DISCOVERED IN 1909 RESULTING IN A BOOM PERIOD OF GOLD PLACER ACTIVITY IN THE DISTRICT. CLAIMS EXTENDED UP PHILADELPHIA CANYON AND ON THE FAN GRAVELS BELOW BANNOCK. WORKINGS IN CANYON WERE NOT HIGHLY PRODUCTIVE DUE TO THE GREAT DEPTH OF THE GRAVELS. A SHAFT NEAR BANNOCK REACHED BEDROCK AT ABOUT 119 FEET.
