Deposit PLACERS WERE CONCENTRATED IN THAT PART OF THE CREEK BED THAT TRENDS SOUTH FOR 1/2 MILE. THE GRAVELS IN THIS AREA OCCUPY A CHANNEL 25-40 FEET WIDE AND 8 FEET DEEP. THE GOLD IS CONCENTRATED IN THE LOWERMOST 1 1/2 TO 4 FEET ABOVE BEDROCK ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
