  • TURQUOISE OCCURS IN BLACK SHALE AND ALONG THE CONTACT BETWEEN THE SHALE AND INTRUSIVE QUARTZ MONZONITE. THE FURQUOISE FORMS SEAMS ALONG BEDDING PLANES AND NUGGETS ALONG BRECCIATED SHEAR ZONES. HIGH-GRADE TURQUOISE, SLIGHTLY GREENISH-BLUE HAS BEEN FOUND BOTH AS CLEAR PIECES AND AS THE BLACK MATRIX, SPIDER WEB VARIETY.
