  • PROPERTY CONSISTS OF ABOUT 14 CLAIMS COVERING 238 ACRES. IN 1930 TONOPAH MINING CO. AND TONOPAH BELMONT DEVELOPMENT CO PURCHASED AND EXPLORED THE GROUND. THEY SANK A 500-FT SHAFT AND BUILT A MILL THAT PRODUCED $770,000 FROM 94500 TONS ORE FROM 1930 TO 1933. T.F. COLE PURCHASED IT IN 1934, AFTER WHICH LESSEES PRODUCED $217000 FROM 1934 TO 1951.
