Comments on the geologic information

  • THE DEPOSIT IS A LONG NARROW LENTICULAR REPLACEMENT ALONG BEDDING IN ARGILLITE AND CHERT THAT STRIKES N45 DEG W AND DIPS 40 DEG. THE ORE BODY FEATHERS OUT IN ALL DIRECTIONS AND IS CUT BY SEVERAL COMPLEX FAULTS AND FOLDS. DRILLING OUTLINED THREE DISCONTINUOUS ORE BODIES ELONGATED ALONG THE STRIKE OF THE HOST ROCKS, THE LONGEST WAS 820 FEET.

Deposit LONG, NARROW, LENTICULAR REPLACEMENT ALONG BEDDING IN AGRILLITE AND CHERT. IT FEATHERS OUT IN ALL DIRECTIONS. 3 DISCONTINUOUS OREBODIES ELONGATED ALONG STRIKE OF HOST ROCKS, UP TO 820 FT. LONG.
Deposit THE PROPERTY COMPRISES FIVE UNPATENTED MINING CLAIMS LOCATED IN 1934. THE ONLY DEVELOPEMENT IN 1950 WERE TWO SHORT ADITS. THE USBM UNDERTOOK EXPLORATION OF THE PROPERTY IN 1940 WITH A PROGRAM OF MAPPING, SAMPLING, TRENCHING, AND DRILLING.
