  • AT THE SOUTH END OF THE PROPERTY THERE ARE 3 NW VINES, THE MIDDLE AND WESTERLY ONE JUNCTION NEAR THE MIDDLE OF THE PROPERTY. THIS WEST VEIN IS THE LITTLE GEM VEIN, AND A. E. RALEIGH CLAIMED THAT THE ORE CHUTE RAKES FROM THE LITTLE GEM INTO THE GYLDING CLAIM (CARPOR, 1920). THE DEPOSIT IS ADJACENT TO THE NORTH CONTACT OF THE OLIGOCENE TENABO STOCK WHERE IT INTRUDES THE PALEOZOIC ROCKS.
