Deposit JASPEROID, BARITE, GOSSAN, AND LOCALLY REMNANTS OF PYRITE OCCUR IN IRREGULAR VEINLIKE BODIES. SOME GOSSAN-RICH SIL-IFICIED ZONES STAND OUT AS RIBS ON THE SURFACE. THE UPPER SLOP-E OF THE HILL HERE IS PREDOMINANTLY GRAY DOLOMITE, WHILE THE L-OWER ADIT HAS ITS PORTAL IN TUFFACEOUS SANDSTONE AND CONGLOMER-ATE. THE BARITE VEINS AND STOCKWORKS AND THE JASPEROID ZONES S-EEM TO TREND N OR NE, NEAR VERTICAL TO 60W. SOME GOSSAN-BARITE--JASPEROID ZONES ARE 1 M OR MORE WIDE. HEMIMORPHITE IS REPORTE-D BY PAPKE (1984)
Deposit SEVEN UNPATENTED LODE MINING CLAIMS WERE LOCATED IN 1963. DEVELOPMENT CONSISTS OF OLD SHALLOW PROSPECT WORKINGS DONE IN 1920'S OR EARLY 1930'S.
