| Deposit | MR. JACK DAVIS WHO LIVES AT THE MINE (1984) REPORTED THAT THE ORE WAS IN NARROW SEAMS OPENING INTO POCKETS OR VUGS CONTAINING GOLD. MANY OF THE SEAMS ARE FRACTURE-FILLING OR VEINLETS, BUT OTHERS ARE CLEARLY FAULT CONTROLLED AND PROBABLY GENETICALLY RELATED TO THE GRANITES. SAMPLE 2981 WAS FROM A NEWER EXPOSED PORTION OF THE MINE IN WHAT MUST BE A MINOR VEIN SYSTEM. |
| Deposit | A GROUP OF 7 CLAIMS OWNED BY THE DEFENBAUGHS IN THE 1930'S. IT WAS DISCOVERED IN 1894 BY ROBERT DENIO, AFTER WHICH IT WAS ACQUIRED BY J. COWDEN & ASSOC. WHO ORGANIZED THE NEVADA KING MINING CO., WHO BUILT A MILL, TREATED ORE & DID CONSIDERABLE DEVELOPMENT WORK. DEVELOPMENT CONSISTED OF 7 ADITS (UP TO 490 FT.
