Comments on the geologic information

  • LENSES, PODS, VEINLETS, AND SINGLE CRTALS OF STIBNITE ARE FOUND ALONG THE SHEAR ZONES, COMMONLY WITH QUARTZ. STIBNITE IS DISSEMINATED THROUGH THE WALLROCK WITHIN TWO INCHES OF THE SHEAR ZONE. ORE SHOOTS OCCUR AT INTERSECTIONS OF SHEAR ZONES WITH CROSS-CUTTING FAULTS. LOCALLY, THINWALLED BOXWORKS OF QUARTZ AND YELLOW ANTIMONY OXIDES HAVE FORMED AROUND GRAINS OF STIBNITE, AND LIMONITIC BOXWORKS ALSO MAY BE PRESENT. PSEUDOMORPHS OF LIMONITE AFTER STIBNITE OCCUR. QUARTZ VEINS 4-10 FT. WIDE CROSS-CUTTING AND PARALLEL TO CONTACT: VEINS DIP INTO CONTACT.
