Comments on the geologic information

  • GEOL.COM: CINNABAR IS DISSEMINATED IN NARROW CALCITE AND QUARTZ LENSES PARALLEL TO BEDDING. MINERALIZATION DOES NOT EXTEND INTO THE WALLROCK BEYOND BEDDING PLANT FAULTS. THE DEVELOPED MINERALIZED STRUCTURE IS 1 1/2 FT. WIDE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SHAFT AND CONSIST OF A CENTRAL SILICIFIED ZONE BOUNDED BY 2 FAULTS WITH CINNABAR ALONG EACH FAULT AND WITHIN THE SILICEOUS MATERIAL. THE ADIT STRUCTURE PARALLELS THE SHAFT STRUCTURE 130 FT. TO THE SE. A N10E MINERALIZED FAULT NEAR THE ADIT MAY INTERSECT THE ADIT STRUCTURE TO THE SW PROVIDING A POTENTIAL LOCUS FOR A POD OF HIGH-GRADE CINNABAR AT THE INTERSECTION.

Subject category Comment text
Deposit IN 1970, THE BIG DEAL CONSISTED OF 3 CONTIGUOUS UNPATENTED CLAIMS. DEVELOPMENT CONSISTS OF A 20-FT. SHAFT AND SHORT ADIT EACH EXPOSING NARROW MINERALIZED FAULT ZONES. ANY POTENTIAL IS FOR SMALL, HIGH-GRADE MERCURY ORE INSUFFICIENT TO SUPPORT A LARGE MINING OPERATION. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT; 2 UNPUB REPT; 3 FIELD OBSERV
