  • WORK WAS DONE BY THE AUSTIN SILVER MINING CO. IN 1935, BUT LACK OF VENTILATION PREVENTED ENTRANCE IN 1937. A TUNNEL WAS OPENED ABOUT 375 FT EAST OF THE DIANA SHAFT.
