Analytical data

Result ASSAYS MADE IN 1915-19 SHOW THAT THE VEIN MATTER CONTAINED AS MUCH AS 100 OUNCES SILVER TO THE TON. ONE SAMPLE SUPPOSED TO REPRESENT HIGH-GRADE MATERIAL CONTAINED A TRACE OF GOLD, 68.8 OUNCES SILVER, 8.4% LEAD AND 11.2% COPPER. A PIECE ASSAYED IN 1919 CONTAINED .12 OUNCE GOLD AND 419.9 OUNCES SILVER TO THE TON, 1.8% LEAD, AND 1.2% ZINC, 4.7% COPPER, 13.5% IRON, AND 52.8% SILICA. THIS IS PROBABLY ROUGHLY REPRESENTATIVE OF THE PROPORTIONS OF THE DIFFERENT CONSTITUENTS, THOUGH OF MORE THAN AVERAGE RICHNESS.
