  • PART OF THE "EAST VEIN SYSTEM". FOOTWALL CARRIES 1-8" OF CLAYEY "TALCOSE" GOUGE VEINS ARE CLOSELY BANDED, OCCUPYING NORMAL-FAULT FISSURES. A 17-FT VEIN HAS SEVERAL PARALLEL LAYERS OF RELATIVELY, PURE ADULARIA OR QTZ-ADULARIA GANGUE. ADULARIA BANDS, STAINED REDDISH-BROWN WITH HEMATITE AND LIMONITE ARE IN SHARP CONTRAST TO GRAY SULPHIDE BANDS.
