Deposit PART OF WEST VEIN SYSTEM. MINE HAS A HORIZONTAL DISTANCE OF 3800 FT. AND A VERTICAL DISTANCE OF 1700 FT. IN JUNE 1919 IT WAS THE LARGEST GOLD MINE IN NEVADA ENRICHMENT CAUSED BY CHLORIDE SOLUTIONS, FE SULPHIDES, MN COMPOUNDS, AND ALKALINE WATERS. AGENCY; DESCENDING METEORIC WATER-ALSO IN PART BY SOLUTION OF CALCITE AND SOLUTION AND REDEPOSITION OF THE GOLD. ORE CHUTES ARE DEVELOPED TO A DEPTH OF 800 FEET ORE CHUTES ARE 20 TO 150 FT. LONG, 4 TO 26 FT. WIDE, DEVELOPMENT IN 1920 CONSISTED OF 4 LONG TUNNELS AND A 400-FT. DEEP WINZE MILL CAPACITY WAS 125 T. PD. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
