Deposit TWO VEINS IN CHERT, FELSITE AND ARGILLITE. HIGHLY OXIDED ORE IS SOFT, FRIABLE, AND BLACK TO REDDISH. THE PRODUCTIVE ORE WAS GENERALLY NEAR THE LOWER BORDER OF THE CANDELARIA SHALE.
