DEPOSIT WAS EXPLORED BY THE USBM IN 1945. THEY OUTLINED AN ORE BODY OF 350,000 TONS ORE AVERAGING 54% FE, 0.04% S, AND 0.49% P. RECENT MINING SHOWED ORE TO BE OF HIGHER GRADE. (SEE GEN. BELOW)
