  • THE MINE IS ON A QUARTZ LODE IN LIMESTONE. THE QUARTZ FORMS A VEIN WITHIN THE LIMESTONE, AND AN 18-INCH WIDE ORE SHOOT WITHIN THE QUARTZ-VINE CONTAINED $16 IN CU AND GOLD (1914). STIBNITE OCCURS AS SINGLE CRYSTALS APPARENTLY DEPOSITED LATER THAN ARSENOPYRITE. A GRAB SAMPLE OF DUMP MATERIAL ASSAYED 26% SB, .018% SELENIUM, .9% CU, .8 OZ/TON AU, 2.08 OZ/TON AG (LAWRENCE, 1963 P. 44)
