  • THE DEPOSIT IS LOCATED ALONG A NORTHWEST TRENDING FAULT ZONE THAT SEPARATES OBSIDIAN ON THE HANGING WALL FROM TUFF ON THE FOOTWALL. BOTH THE FAULT ZONE AND THE FOOT WALL TUFF HAVE BEEN SILICIFIED AND LENTICULAR OPALITE ORE BODIES WHICH LOCALLY ATTAIN 8 FT. IN THICKNESS HAVE BEEN MINED ALONG THIS ZONE.
