| Deposit | THE DISTRICT WAS DISCOVERED IN 1869; IN 1871 AND AGAIN IN 1917-19 LEAD, SILVER, COPPER, AND ZINC ORE WAS SHIPPED. THE KNOB HILL (LONG CANYON) MINE IS LOCATED IN UPPER LONG CANON, ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE CANON. IT IS DEVELOPED BY 2 ADITS, IN THE COMBRIAN LIMESTONE. THE ORE OCCURS IN QUARTZ-CALCITE VEINS UP TO 5' WIDE, THAT STRIKE NW, AND DIP SW. |
