| Deposit | THE RED BIRD MINES OF THE BUNKER HILL GROUP, IS DEVELOPED BY A 250' ADIT ON A STEEPLY DIPPING LODE. A SECOND ADIT LIES 80' BELOW, AND IT IS 200' LONG; A RAISE CONNECTS THE TWO. THE LODE IS 4' WIDE AND CARRIES LEAD AND SILVER. THE WORKINGS ARE ALSO DEVELOPED BY AN INCLINE ON A 3' WIDE FISSURE IN LIMESTONE. THE LEAD-SILVER ORE OCCURS IN A FISSURE IN LIMESTONE. THE PROPERTY WAS OPERATING IN 1908, AND IS PART OF THE BUNKER HILL GROUP OF THE NEVADA BUNKER HILL MINING COMPANY. THE MINE IS LOCATED ON THE NW SLOPE OF A NE TRENDING SPUR OF BUNKER HILL NEAR THE COPPER BELL MINE. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT |
