  • LIMESTONE OF CAMBRIAN AGE IS TILTED SOUTHWARD AND INTRUDED BY A STOCK AND BY DIKES OF QUARTZ MONZONITE. ADJACENT TO THE STOCK THE LIMESTONES ARE MARBLEIZED AND SILICIFIED. ALL ROCK TYPES ARE CUT BY FAULTS WHICH DIP STEEPLY NORTH, EAST, OR WEST. PB-CU-AG ORES OCCURR AS SMALL LENSES AND PODS ALONG THE THREE SETS OF FAULTS. IN THE MORNING STAR MINE. THEY WERE AS MUCH AS 50 FEET LONG & WERE MINED TO ADEPTH OF 275 FT.
