  • N15E? SHEAR ZONE IN DK GREY, CALCITE VEINED XTALLINE LST RED-BROWN SILTY SS. WITH MN DENDRITS EXPOSED IN SHAFT. SHAFT WALLS ARE BRXIATED WITH CALCITE AND FE GOUGE SURROUNDING LG "FLOATING" BOULDERS OF DARK GREY LS. SEVERAL OXIDIZED ZONES ARE EXPOSED IN SHAFT, A FEW ARE CHARACTERIZED BY ABUNDENT CUT FE OXS. SOME GOSSAN FOUND ON DUMP ASSOCIATED WITH COARSE CALCITE, VEIN. CALCITE VEINS ALSO CUT THE DK GREY LS. THESE VEINS ARE 1/4 TO 1/2 IN WIDE & ARE OFTEN CROSS-CUT BY THINNER CALCITE VEINLETS. CU OXS. OCCUR IN CRINOID BEARING SLIGHTLY SILIC LS (JOANNA? FM) SM AMOUNT PURPLE SS BRX WITH JUG FILLINGS OF ZEOLITES (?) SAMPLE 718: SEVERAL RK TYPES 1.) LIMONITE STAINED SILIC BROWN GOSSAN 2.) SILIC GREENISH LS WITH OXID PYRITE (?) 3.) MAROON SHALEY BRECCIA 4.) COARSE CALCITE VEIN WITH GOSSAN & FE OXS.
