| Deposit | VOLCANIC ASH (PUMICITE) WAS MINED FROM 3 OPEN CUTS AT THE COBRECITE MINE IN THE 1940'S (?) FOUNDATIONS OF A SIZING AND BAGGING PLANT REMAIN NEAR THE MINE. THE DEPOSIT IS A STRATUM ABOUT 20 FT THICK IN A 100 FT THICK DEPOSIT OF VERY LIGHT GRAY, FRIABLE PUMICITE.
