| Deposit | THE PARKER OR HUMBUG MINE IS A PROPERTY IN THE NE PART OF THE DISTRICT, BELOW THE SPENCE MINE, IN A LOW FOOTHILL AT AN ELEVATION OF 6950. FIRST SHIPMENTS WERE MADE IN 1929 AND 1930 OF LEAD-SILVER ORE. THE MINE IS OPENED BY SHAFTS TO A DEPTH (1931) OF 80 FT. IN 1942 THE SHAFT WAS 100 FT (INCLINE) WITH DRIFTS AND CROSSCUTS. THE MINE WAS WORKED IN A SMALL WAY IN THE 1930'S TO 1943. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT |
