| Deposit | MINERALIZED QUARTZ AND JASPER, BRECCIA. HIGHLY FE-STAINED, BRECCIATED AND RESILICIFIED QUARTZ VEIN MATERIAL ON THE DUMP CARRIES OXIDIZED AND UNOXIDIZED PYRITE. DARK SULFIDE LENSES, PODS OF CRYSTALLINE GALENA, AND MINOR CU OXIDES. THE QUARTZ IS MASSIVE WHITE TO "SULFIDE" GREY, SUGARY TO COARSELY CRYSTALLINE, MASSIVE. SMALL VUGS IN THE QUARTZ ARE COATED BY FE-MN OXIDES, WHICH ARE ABUNDANT IN THE DENSE JASPEROID AND QUARTZ VEIN SAMPLES. GOSSANY ZONES ARE PRESENT THROUGHOUT VEIN MATERIAL AND SILICA-FE VEINLETS AND LENSES CUT THROUGH THE ROCK. THE BRECCIA IS RECEMENTED BY SILICA AND FE-OXIDES, INDICATING VEIN MATERIAL WAS EMPLACED ALONG FISSURE/SHEAR ZONE. SOME YELLOW AND GREEN OXIDES (AS?, PB?, CL?) COAT ROCK. SAMPLE IS QUITE DENSE. DOLOMITE BRECCIA RECEMENTED BY REDDISH-GRAY JASPEROID. |
