  • THE LITTLE BUCK SHAFT IS INCLINED 70 DEGREE AND HAS 4 LEVELS AT 70 FT, 135 FT, 185 FT AND 270 FT. THERE ARE 60 FT OF DRIFTS ON THE 70 FT LEVEL, 340 ON THE 1358 520 ON THE 185 AND 420 FT OF DRIFTS OF DRIFTS ONTHE 270 FT LEVEL. ORE BODY WAS DEVELOPED AND MINED BY RAISING FROM THE LEVELS AND STOPING ORE BETEEN THE LEVELS. SHAFT CAVED 20 FT BELOW COLLAR IN 1976

Deposit AN EASTERN STRAND OF THE SNOWFLAKE VEIN CALLED THE LITTLE BUCK VEIN. AT SOME PLACES THERE IS A SPLITTING OF THE VEIN BUT AFTER A FEW FT THE AVERAGE WIDTH IS AGAIN DEVELOPED. BOXWORK DERIVED FROM PYRITE
