Economic information

Comments on the geologic information

  • ON SURFACE MINE SURROUNDED BY LIMESTONE THAT HAS BEEN INTRUDED BY ALASKITE DIKE, BUT ON THE DUMP ALL OF THE VEIN MATERIAL IS QTZ IN GRANODIORITE. THE GRAND VIEW MINE IS ON A QTZ VEIN WHICH IS ALSO CROSS-CUTTING APUITE DIKES WHICH HAVE INTRUDED A DARK-GREY LIMESTONE. THERE IS SOME SKARN-EPIDOTE MINERALIZATION BUT IT IS NOT DOMINATE AT THE MINE SITE. THE QTZ. VEINS AND VEINLETS HAVE INTRUDED ALONG FAULTS AND FRACTURES. BRECCIATION IS COMMON WITHIN THE VEIN SYSTEM, WHICH IS MINERALIZED W/ MINOR CUS, CUO, WOLFRAMITE (?), AS WELL AS SILVER THERE IS SOME CALIFICATION AND SILICITICATION ALONG THE RIND OF THE VEIN
