Deposit SHAFT SUNK ON SHEAR ZONE IN KAOLINIZED RHYOLITE. WIDE ZONE WITH FE-OXIDE STAIN, (NO QUARTZ SEEN); FE OXIDE STRINGERS 2-3 IN THICK ALONG SHEAR ZONE. WORKINGS ON HILL TO SOUTH EXPOSE CONTACT BETWEEN TWO RHYOLITE FLOWS; BASE FLOW IS BRECCIATED, MODERATELY OPALIZED NEAR CONTACT. FE OXIDE STAINED UPPER FLOW IS BANDED, FRIABLE, MORE EVEN-TEXTURED-NO SIGNS OF MINERALIZATION.
