Deposit A SHALLOW SHAFT EXPLORES A N 55 W, 70 SW QUARTZ VEIN IN PINK-ORTHOCLASE GRANITE. THE VEIN CONTAINS MODERATELY HEAVY IRON OXIDE GOSSAN AND SPOTTY GREEN OXIDE-COPPER MINERALS. THE VEIN QUARTZ IS MILKY AND MIXED WITH GOSSAN. NO PRIMARY SULFIDE MINERALS WERE NOTED. THE VEIN IS ABOUT 25-35 CM WIDE IN THE WALL OF THE SHAFT.
