RO-MAC HAS BEEN ACTIVELY PLACERING THE AREA SINCE AT LEAST 1981. IN 1981-1983, WARNER TEXAS INC WAS ALSO OPERATING A WILLOW CREEK MINE IN SEC. 11 EMPLOYING 6 PERSONS. ALSO, SANSTEAD MINING CO. WAS OPERATING THE JOHNSON CANAL PLACER WITH 3 WORKERS IN 1981, IN SEC 35, +32 NR36E, POWNSTREAM A BIT FROM THE OTHER WILLOW CREEK PLACERS. MOST PLACER ACTIVITY WAS BETWEEN 1938 AND 1964.
