General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit WORKINGS ARE ALONG A 20-40-FT WIDE SILICIFIED ZONE IN RHYOLITE THAT FOLLOWS A N 45 E-BEARING, DIPPING STEEPLY NW. LOCALLY THERE ARE OUTCROPS OF HIGHLY SILICIFIED ALTERED TUFF (??). THE CONTACT ZONE BETWEEN THE SILICIFIED ZONE OR "VEIN" AND RHYOLITE IS BLEACHED, WHITE ARGILLITE; THE "VEIN" IS COMPOSED OF MINOR QUARTZ STRINGERS. MUCH OF THE VEIN AND ARGILLIZED CONTACT ZONE APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN LEACHED. BOXWORK STRUCTURES ARE EVIDENT.
