Deposit CU OXIDE-STAINED SHEAR ZONE IN KAOLINZED DIORITE WITH PODS AND LENSES OF WHITE VEIN QUARTZ (BRECCIATED) ALONG STRUCTURE. SERIES OF SILICIFIED FE-OXIDE-STAINED OUTCROPS MARK A PARALLEL SHEAR ZONE N AND S OF BADGER. STRUCTURE AT THE BADGER SHAFT STRIKES N 80 E, DIP 55 NW. THE EXPOSED ZONE IS 10-15 FT THICK WITH 1-FT WIDE QUARTZ VEIN ON HANGING WALL. A N 30 W, 80 NE FRACTURE ZONE WITH PODS OF VEIN QUARTZ ALONG IT INTERSECTS THE NE STRUCTURE IN A PIT ABOUT 100 FT WEST OF THE BADGER SHAFT. ALTERATION EXTENDS ALONG BOTH STRUCTURES. VEINS AND ADJACENT WALLROCK ARE LOCALLY CU OXIDE-STAINED.
