  • A STAMP MILL OPERATED IN THE EARLY DAYS, AND AN AERIAL TRAMWAY WAS EXTENDED FROM THE MINE TO THE MILL. GOLD PROVED TO BE SPARSE AND OPERATION WAS NOT PROFITABLE.
