General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit THE UPPER ADIT AND A NEARBY CUT GIVE NO INDICATIONS OF MANGANESE MINERALIZATION, EXCEPT IN A SMALL AREA NEAR THE EDGE OF THE OPENCUT. MINERALIZATION APPEARS TO BE LOCALIZED ENTIRELY WITHIN THE ALTERED BASALT. THE ZONE IS 13 FEET LONG, 4 FEET WIDE, AND ABOUT 5 FEET DEEP. ITS GENERAL TREND IS SOUTHWEST.
